Bu Gizlilik Politikası ve Aydınlatma Metni, Cüneyt Bilgiç ("Veri Sorumlusu", "Hizmet Sağlayıcı" veya "Biz") tarafından geliştirilen Lexia: HMGS & Hukuk Rehberi mobil uygulamasının ("Uygulama") kullanımı sırasında elde edilen kişisel verilerin toplanması, işlenmesi, saklanması ve korunmasına ilişkin usul ve esasları düzenlemektedir.

Kişisel verileriniz, 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu ("KVKK") ve geçerli olduğu ölçüde Avrupa Birliği Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü ("GDPR") standartlarına uygun olarak azami özenle korunmaktadır.

1. Toplanan Kişisel Veriler

Uygulamayı kullanmanız sırasında yalnızca sunduğumuz hizmetleri (soru bankası, deneme sınavları, ilerleme takibi, premium üyelik) yerine getirebilmek amacıyla aşağıdaki veriler toplanmaktadır:

  • Kimlik ve İletişim Verileri: Ad, Soyad, E-posta adresi ve profil fotoğrafı (Google veya Apple Sign-In ile giriş yapıldığında).
  • Kullanıcı Profil Verileri: Kendi isteğinizle profilinize eklediğiniz; üniversite adı, GANO (not ortalaması), hedef sınav puanları, yabancı dil bilgisi, staj durumu ve hakkınızdaki diğer bilgiler.
  • Uygulama İçi Davranış ve İlerleme Verileri: Çözdüğünüz testlerin geçmişi, deneme sınavı sonuçlarınız, günlük çalışma seriniz (streak), kazandığınız deneyim puanları (XP) ve genel ilerleme istatistikleriniz.
  • İşlem ve Cihaz Güvenliği Verileri: Kullanılan işletim sistemi (iOS/Android) bilgisi ve size anlık bildirim (push notification) gönderebilmek amacıyla oluşturulan anonim FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) cihaz kimliği (token).
  • Finansal ve Abonelik Verileri: Uygulama içi satın alım (Premium) yapmanız durumunda abonelik durumunuz. (Not: Kredi kartı bilgileriniz hiçbir şekilde tarafımızca toplanmaz veya saklanmaz; bu işlemler doğrudan Apple App Store veya Google Play Store altyapısı üzerinden gerçekleşir).

Toplanmayan Veriler: Uygulama; cihazınızın kesin GPS konumunu, IP adresinizi, cihaz galerinizdeki dosyaları veya mikrofon/kamera girdilerinizi toplamaz.

2. Kişisel Verilerin İşlenme Amaçları

Toplanan verileriniz yalnızca aşağıdaki amaçlarla işlenmektedir:

  • Kullanıcı hesabı oluşturmak ve güvenli giriş (kimlik doğrulama) sağlamak,
  • Cihazlar arası veri senkronizasyonunu sağlayarak (örn. telefonda çözülen testin tablette görünmesi) eğitim sürecinizin kesintisiz devam etmesini sağlamak,
  • Premium abonelikleri yönetmek ve yetkilendirme yapmak,
  • Sınav ve test sonuçlarınıza dayalı olarak uygulamanın eğitim algoritmalarını size özel hale getirmek,
  • Hukuki yükümlülüklerimizi yerine getirmek.

3. Kişisel Verilerin Üçüncü Taraflara ve Yurt Dışına Aktarımı (KVKK Madde 9)

Lexia, modern ve bulut tabanlı (cloud-based) bir eğitim uygulamasıdır. Altyapı gereksinimleri nedeniyle verileriniz, yüksek güvenlik standartlarına sahip uluslararası hizmet sağlayıcılarının yurt dışındaki (ağırlıklı olarak ABD ve Avrupa) sunucularında saklanmaktadır.

Hizmet aldığımız veri işleyen üçüncü taraflar şunlardır:

  • Firebase (Google LLC): Veritabanı (Firestore) ve kimlik doğrulama altyapısı için kullanılır. Profil bilgileriniz, sınav geçmişiniz ve ayarlarınız şifrelenmiş olarak burada saklanır.
  • RevenueCat: Premium aboneliklerin yönetimi için kullanılır. Abonelik takibinin doğru yapılabilmesi amacıyla e-posta adresiniz ve isminiz RevenueCat sistemleri ile paylaşılır.

Bu aktarımlar haricinde, kişisel verileriniz hiçbir reklam şirketiyle, veri simsarıyla veya yetkisiz üçüncü kurumla paylaşılmaz veya satılmaz. Yasal bir zorunluluk (mahkeme kararı vb.) olması durumu müstesnadır.

4. "Local-First" (Önce Yerel) Mimarisi ve Güvenlik

Uygulamamız, verilerinizi korumak için endüstri standartlarında güvenlik önlemleri alır:

  • Hassas ders notları ve soru bankası içerikleri cihazınızda AES-256-CTR şifreleme (Rust tabanlı) ile korunur.
  • Uygulama içindeki hassas kimlik belirteçleriniz "Secure Storage" (Cihazın donanımsal güvenlik modülü / Keychain) üzerinde saklanır.
  • Ağ trafiğimizin tamamı zorunlu HTTPS/TLS şifrelemesi üzerinden gerçekleşir.

5. Veri Saklama Süresi ve Unutulma Hakkı (Hesap Silme)

Kişisel verileriniz, uygulamayı kullandığınız ve hesabınızın aktif olduğu süre boyunca saklanır. Uygulamayı kullanmayı bırakmak ve verilerinizi silmek isterseniz, bu işlem son derece kolaydır.

Hesabınızı Nasıl Silebilirsiniz?
Uygulama içerisindeki "Ayarlar > Hesabımı ve Verilerimi Sil" adımlarını izleyerek hesabınızı kalıcı olarak silebilirsiniz.

Bu işlemi onayladığınızda sistemimiz şunları otomatik olarak yapar:

  1. Veritabanımızdaki profiliniz, test geçmişiniz, sınav sonuçlarınız ve bulut yedeklemeleriniz kalıcı olarak yok edilir. (Bu veriler geriye döndürülemez).
  2. Kimlik doğrulama (Auth) sistemimizdeki kaydınız silinir.
  3. Cihazınızda depolanan tüm yerel ayarlar ve önbellekler temizlenir.

6. KVKK Kapsamındaki Haklarınız (Madde 11)

KVKK kapsamında kullanıcı olarak aşağıdaki haklara sahipsiniz:

  • Kişisel verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme,
  • İşlenmişse buna ilişkin bilgi talep etme,
  • İşlenme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme,
  • Yurt içinde veya yurt dışında aktarıldığı 3. kişileri bilme,
  • Eksik veya yanlış işlenmişse düzeltilmesini isteme,
  • Kanun'da öngörülen şartlar çerçevesinde silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme,
  • Aktarıldığı 3. kişilere yukarıdaki işlemlerin bildirilmesini isteme,
  • Münhasıran otomatik sistemler ile analiz edilmesi nedeniyle aleyhinize bir sonucun ortaya çıkmasına itiraz etme,
  • Kanuna aykırı olarak işlenmesi sebebiyle zarara uğramanız hâlinde zararın giderilmesini talep etme.

7. Çocukların Gizliliği

Bu Uygulama hukuk fakültesi öğrencilerine, mezunlarına ve profesyonellere yöneliktir ve 13 yaşın altındaki kişilere hitap etmemektedir. 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklardan bilerek kişisel veri toplanmaz. Böyle bir durum tespit edilirse, ilgili veriler derhal sunucularımızdan silinir.

8. Politika Değişiklikleri

Bu Gizlilik Politikası, hukuki gereksinimler veya uygulamaya eklenen yeni özellikler doğrultusunda zaman zaman güncellenebilir. Önemli değişiklikler yapıldığında, Uygulama içi bildirim yoluyla bilgilendirilirsiniz. Politikayı düzenli aralıklarla gözden geçirmeniz tavsiye edilir.

Gizlilik uygulamalarımız, verilerinizin durumu veya yasal haklarınız ile ilgili her türlü sorunuz için veri sorumlusu ile iletişime geçebilirsiniz:

10. Web Sitesi (lexiahukuk.com)

Bu bölüm, lexiahukuk.com adresindeki web sitesi ve web üzerinden sunulan Türkiye Geneli Deneme sayfası için geçerlidir. Yukarıdaki maddeler web sitesi için de aynen uygulanır; aşağıdakiler web'e özgüdür:

  • Anonim ziyaret ve tıklama kayıtları: Sitenin nasıl kullanıldığını ölçmek için ziyaret zamanı, cihaz türü (ör. iOS, Android, Windows, macOS), mağaza düğmelerine tıklamalar, sitedeki örnek sorulara verilen cevapların doğru/yanlış bilgisi ve bağlantıda yer alıyorsa kaynak etiketi (ör. Instagram) kaydedilir. Bu kayıtlar adınızı, e-posta adresinizi veya IP adresinizi içermez. Kayıtlar Firebase (Google LLC) altyapısında saklanır.
  • Tarayıcı depolaması: Ana sayfa çerez kullanmaz. Tarayıcınızın yerel depolama alanında (localStorage / sessionStorage) yalnızca son ziyaret zamanı (aynı ziyaretin saatte bir defadan fazla sayılmaması için), maskotun ekrandaki konumu ve ipucunun gösterilip gösterilmediği tutulur. Bu bilgiler cihazınızdan gönderilmez; tarayıcı ayarlarınızdan silebilirsiniz.
  • Web denemeleri (Google ile giriş): Türkiye Geneli Deneme'ye web'den katılmak için Google hesabınızla giriş yaptığınızda adınız, e-posta adresiniz ve profil fotoğrafınız; deneme bitince puanınız, doğru/yanlış/boş sayılarınız, cevaplarınız ve süreniz Firebase'de saklanır. Sıralama tablosunda adınız, profil fotoğrafınız, doğru/yanlış sayılarınız, puanınız ve süreniz aynı denemeye giriş yapan diğer kullanıcılara gösterilir. E-posta adresiniz diğer kullanıcılara gösterilmez. Giriş sırasında Google'ın kendi oturum çerezleri ve Firebase oturum bilgisi tarayıcınızda tutulur.
  • Teknik erişim verileri: Her internet sitesinde olduğu gibi, sayfaların size iletilebilmesi için IP adresiniz ve tarayıcı bilgileriniz barındırma ve içerik sağlayıcılarına (Firebase Hosting / Google; bazı sayfalarda Google Fonts) teknik olarak ulaşır. Bu bilgiler tarafımızca ayrıca kaydedilmez; ilgili sağlayıcıların kendi gizlilik politikalarına tabidir.
  • Web üzerinden oluşan hesap ve sonuç verileriniz için 5. ve 6. maddelerdeki silme ve başvuru hakları aynen geçerlidir.

Lexia: HMGS & Law Guide - Privacy Policy and Clarification Text

This Privacy Policy and Clarification Text regulates the procedures and principles regarding the collection, processing, storage, and protection of personal data obtained during the use of the Lexia: HMGS & Law Guide mobile application ("Application") developed by Cüneyt Bilgiç ("Data Controller", "Service Provider", or "We").

Your personal data is protected with the utmost care in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and, to the extent applicable, the standards of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

1. Collected Personal Data

During your use of the Application, the following data is collected solely to fulfill the services we offer (question bank, practice exams, progress tracking, premium membership):

  • Identity and Contact Data: Name, Surname, Email address, and profile photo (when logging in via Google or Apple Sign-In).
  • User Profile Data: Information you voluntarily add to your profile; university name, GPA (grade point average), target exam scores, foreign language proficiency, internship status, and other information about you.
  • In-App Behavior and Progress Data: History of the tests you have completed, practice exam results, daily study streak, experience points (XP) earned, and your overall progress statistics.
  • Transaction and Device Security Data: Information on the operating system used (iOS/Android) and the anonymous FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) device ID (token) generated to send you push notifications.
  • Financial and Subscription Data: Your subscription status in the event of making an in-app purchase (Premium). (Note: Your credit card information is never collected or stored by us; these transactions are processed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store infrastructure).

Data Not Collected: The Application does not collect your exact GPS location, IP address, files in your device gallery, or microphone/camera inputs.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your collected data is processed solely for the following purposes:

  • To create a user account and ensure secure login (authentication),
  • To ensure your educational process continues uninterrupted by providing data synchronization across devices (e.g., a test solved on a phone appearing on a tablet),
  • To manage and authorize Premium subscriptions,
  • To personalize the application's educational algorithms for you based on your exam and test results,
  • To fulfill our legal obligations.

3. Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties and Abroad (KVKK Article 9)

Lexia is a modern, cloud-based educational application. Due to infrastructure requirements, your data is stored on the servers of international service providers abroad (predominantly in the US and Europe) that maintain high-security standards.

The third-party data processors from whom we receive services are:

  • Firebase (Google LLC): Used for the database (Firestore) and authentication infrastructure. Your profile information, exam history, and settings are securely stored here in an encrypted format.
  • RevenueCat: Used for managing Premium subscriptions. Your email address and name are shared with RevenueCat systems to accurately track your subscription.

Other than these transfers, your personal data is not shared or sold to any advertising company, data broker, or unauthorized third party. Exceptions apply in the event of a legal obligation (court order, etc.).

4. "Local-First" Architecture and Security

Our application implements industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • Sensitive lecture notes and question bank contents are protected on your device with AES-256-CTR encryption (Rust-based).
  • Your sensitive authentication tokens within the application are stored in "Secure Storage" (the Device's hardware security module / Keychain).
  • All of our network traffic operates over mandatory HTTPS/TLS encryption.

5. Data Retention Period and the Right to be Forgotten (Account Deletion)

Your personal data is retained for as long as you use the application and your account remains active. If you wish to stop using the application and delete your data, this process is exceedingly simple.

How to Delete Your Account?
You can permanently delete your account by following the "Settings > Delete My Account and Data" steps within the application.

When you confirm this action, our system automatically does the following:

  1. Your profile, test history, exam results, and cloud backups in our database are permanently destroyed. (This data cannot be recovered).
  2. Your record in our authentication (Auth) system is deleted.
  3. All local settings and caches stored on your device are cleared.

Alternatively, you can submit your account deletion requests by sending an email to hukukrehberim.app@gmail.com.

6. Your Rights Under KVKK (Article 11)

As a user under the KVKK, you have the following rights:

  • To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
  • To request information regarding this if it has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in accordance with its purpose,
  • To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred domestically or abroad,
  • To request the correction of incomplete or inaccurately processed data,
  • To request the deletion or destruction of the data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the Law,
  • To request that the aforementioned operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
  • To object to the occurrence of a result against you by means of analyzing the data exclusively through automated systems,
  • To demand compensation for damages if you suffer harm due to the unlawful processing of the data.

7. Children's Privacy

This Application is intended for law students, graduates, and professionals, and does not target individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such a situation is detected, the relevant data is immediately deleted from our servers.

8. Policy Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time in accordance with legal requirements or new features added to the application. When significant changes are made, you will be notified via an in-app notification. It is recommended that you review the policy periodically.

10. Website (lexiahukuk.com)

This section applies to the website at lexiahukuk.com and to the Nationwide Practice Exam offered on the web. The sections above apply to the website as well; the following are specific to the web:

  • Anonymous visit and click records: To measure how the site is used, we record the time of visit, device type (e.g. iOS, Android, Windows, macOS), clicks on the store buttons, whether answers to the sample questions on the site were correct, and, if present in the link, a source tag (e.g. Instagram). These records do not contain your name, email address or IP address. They are stored on Firebase (Google LLC) infrastructure.
  • Browser storage: The home page does not use cookies. Your browser's local storage (localStorage / sessionStorage) holds only the time of your last visit (so that a visit is not counted more than once per hour), the on-screen position of the mascot and whether the hint has been shown. This information is not sent from your device; you can delete it in your browser settings.
  • Web exams (Sign in with Google): When you sign in with your Google account to take the Nationwide Practice Exam on the web, your name, email address and profile photo, and, after the exam, your score, numbers of correct/incorrect/blank answers, your answers and time spent are stored on Firebase. On the leaderboard, your name, profile photo, numbers of correct/incorrect answers, score and time are shown to other signed-in users of the same exam. Your email address is not shown to other users. During sign-in, Google's own session cookies and Firebase session data are kept in your browser.
  • Technical access data: As with any website, your IP address and browser information technically reach the hosting and content providers (Firebase Hosting / Google; on some pages Google Fonts) so that pages can be delivered to you. We do not separately record this information; it is subject to the providers' own privacy policies.
  • The deletion and access rights in Sections 5 and 6 apply equally to account and result data created on the web.
